As we approach a new patch in 11.1.7 we're getting some really cool things, the first one being obviously the 1 click rotational tool that Blizzard is including in their game! This is cool for many reasons, accessibility being one of them but now maybe we'll get some more class diversity and different playstyles altogether and MAYBE just MAYBE stay outside the META longer.
This is a great approach to the game and opens it for many more.
With that said, maybe this is the end of GSE, depending on how Blizzard implements these changes and restrictions to addons it may spell out doom for the addon or maybe it'll bolster it's popularity since more people want to explore the playstyle. I want you all to know, I plan on maintaining House of Macros until GSE dies or is no longer supported. And even then as a developer I may just fork it from github and keep it alive should TimothyLuke choose to end the project. None of these decisions have been made and honestly if I do make them I'll keep the community looped in.
